Thiruvananthapuram: A global Ayurveda Festival will be held here from February 9 to 14 next year, packaging a host of programmes from seminars to expert clinics to showcase the vast potential of the ancient Indian system of medicine and wellness and work out strategies for tapping the global market for Indian medicinal products.

Releasing the logo and borcuhre for the event here on Thursday evening, Kerala Health Minister Adoor Prakash said though Ayurveda had been recognized the world over and its global potential remained to be tapped fully. Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) is organising the event in partnership with the state Ayurveda Department.
