The day temperatures were below normal by 2°C in some parts of interior Odisha, slightly above normal by 2°C at a few places in Coastal Odisha, and remained normal elsewhere in the state, said IMD.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature showed mixed trends, with an appreciable drop of about 3°C at some locations, an increase of 2-4°C in others, while most parts of the state experienced no major change.

With temperatures rising gradually, residents are advised to take necessary precautions to cope with the warmer conditions.
