Southwest monsoon to withdraw from parts of Odisha, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh: IMD
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that the conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, some more parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim during next two days.
So far, the Southwest Monsoon has further withdrawn from the entire Uttar Pradesh, major parts of Madhya Pradesh, some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh.
Currently, the line of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon now passes through Darbhanga, Hazaribagh, Pendra Road, Narsinghpur, Khargaon, Nandurbar, and Navsari, informed IMD.
Weather Forecast:
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 12.10.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 13.10.2024): Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 13.10.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 14.10.2024): Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput.
