Low Pressure Triggers Rainfall In Odisha
Several parts of Coastal Odisha are experiencing light to moderate rainfall under the influence of a low pressure, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
As per IMD, the intensity of rainfall is likely to increase as a low pressure system has formed over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood.
The low pressure has formed under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. As per the forecast, the system is very likely to move west-northwestwards towards Andhra Pradesh coast.
The rainfall activities are likely to dampen the ongoing Durga Puja festivities in different parts of the State. The rainfall activities since last night created problems for early office goers in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
