IMD predicts heat wave, thunderstorms in Odisha districts; check monsoon updates

There would be a gradual rise in maximum temperature (day temperature) by 2 to 3 degrees C during the next 3 days and no large change is expected thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.

People across Odisha are eagerly waiting for the onset of Monsoon as hot and humid conditions are causing all sorts of inconvenience to people.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday stated that the conditions are favourable for further advancement of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Telangana, remaining parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of south Chhattisgarh and South Odisha during the next 3-4 days.
