As per IMD, heavy rainfall has occurred at Khordha and Kalahandi while light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places over the districts of Odisha.

Several parts of Odisha on Wednesday continued to experience rainfall activities under the influence of a well-marked low-pressure area over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh- North Tamil Nadu coasts which persisted over the same region.

As per the IMD, the system is likely to weaken into a low-pressure area over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu coasts during the next 24 hours.

As per IMD, heavy rainfall has occurred at Khordha and Kalahandi while light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places over the districts of Odisha.

Weather Forecast For Odisha

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 26.12.2024): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of coastal and south Interior Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places overt the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Kandhamal , Khordha, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Puri, Koraput, Malkangiri.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 26.12.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 27.12.2024): Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal , Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri.
