Ganjam is also famous for a perennial hot spring of medicinal sulfuric water located at Taptapani .This district has world’s largest breeding ground of Olive Ridley sea turtles at Rushikulya beach where Lakhs of endangered Olive Ridley turtles flocked the Rushikulya river mouth for their annual mass nesting. Ganjam’s Achar (Pickles) and Papad is very popular. These two give away such a wonderful flavor to the mouth that it is liked by the folks of Odisha at any and every point of time.
