Even though there will be no considerable change in the maximum temperature (day temperature), several parts of Odisha will experience thunderstorm activities during the next 4 to 5 days.

India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar has also issued a yellow warning for thunderstorm, lightning and heatwave in several parts of the State.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur in the next 24 hours.

Yellow Warning( Be updated) Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Sambalpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada.

Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Boudh.
