A Low Pressure area is likely to form over east-central Bay of Bengal and the neighbourhood during the next 24 hours under the influence of a cyclonic circulation which extends up to 5.8 km above the mean sea level tilting south-westwards, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
As per IMD, the low pressure system is likely to move west-north-westwards and reach south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts during the subsequent 24 hours.
Under its’ influence, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada and Koraput in the next 24 hours.
