Cyclonic Circulation Over Interior Odisha; Heavy Rain To Lash Several Dists In Next 24 Hrs, Says IMD

A cyclonic circulation lies over interior Odisha and the neighbourhood. It extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.

A north-south trough also runs from the above cyclonic circulation over interior Odisha and the neighbourhood to north Tamil Nadu, the IMD added. As per IMD, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over 9 districts - Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj in the next 24 hours.
