The viral video has gained mixed reviews from social media users. Many even termed it as attention-gaining and done purportedly to gain attention online.
“Government of India & all state governments encourage people to use cycle for short distances. Also India should adopt Netherlands model for separate cycle lanes in all major cities,” a user commented.

“I think it's the best way of transport, doesn't harm environment,” a third user wrote.
When contacted, the Zomato agent said, “Petrol nahi mila bhai. Teen ghante line me khada raha. Zomato se nikal gaya.. petrol nahin mila (There was no petrol. I waited in the queue for three hours. I left after taking the order couldn’t get the petrol)."
