Teacher-Student bond transformed over years! Viral video shows miserable shift, watch

For ages, the relationship between teachers (gurus) and students (shishyas) has been considered as sacred in India. Teacher-student relationship has been revered for centuries and is deeply rooted in Indian culture. Teachers are regarded as mentors, role models, and guides, who not only impart knowledge but also instill values, wisdom and discipline in students. Not many years ago, the teacher-student dynamic was characterised by a sense of reverence, respect and fear. However, the recent years have witnessed a shift in the dynamics. These days, the teacher-student dynamic is more balanced and fear is replaced by mutual respect and trust.

However, several incidents have come to the fore, in recent times, where some specific students of the new generation are ill-behaved and indecent. Leave respecting their teachers; such students even don't hesitate to raise their hands to their teachers.

As India celebrates Teachers Day on September 5, a video surfaced on social media, that proves that the teacher-student bond has transformed over years and the shift is somehow getting miserable, in some way.

Today, a video surfaced on the internet that shows a group of students putting the trash bin on their teacher, while he is busy writing something on the board. Surprisingly, the teacher simply gets the trash bin off his head and keeps it in the classroom corner. The next visual shows the students standing near the teacher and making fun of the elderly teacher. Moreover, the boys raise the trash bin again to hit him.

The third visual shows a student yelling at his teacher.

Though the context of the situation is unknown, it is certainly disturbing to see some students of the new generation being rude and violent towards their teachers.
