Private video of Mona Alam leaked; Pakistani anchor shares screenshot of real woman in viral MMS clip

In the last couple of months, several private videos attributed to several Pakistani internet personalities and celebrities have found their way to social media platforms. At least five to six celebrities have fallen victim to the leaked videos.

The latest target of this malicious trend is renowned Pakistani anchor Mona Alam. As per reports, a private video featuring Mona Alam has been circulating online. However, Mona slammed the video and clarified that it was a morphed and fabricated video only to malign her image.

Taking to her X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Mona shared a screenshot of the purported video and wrote, “This woman’s objectionable video is being spread by petty haters on social media, claiming it’s me.”

She clarified that the individual in the video is a known criminal and shared an authentic image of the woman to debunk the claims.

Mona also posted a copy of the police complaint she has failed against the circulation of the viral MMS.

This isn’t the first time, a Pakistani social media influencer has been character assassinated online. Prominent figures like Maryam Faisal, Kanwal Aftab, Minahil Malik, Mathira Mohammad, and Imsha Rehman have also been part of a broader wave of MMS leak.

The social media is also abuzz with video leaks of Indian celebrities including that of renowned influencer Sona Dey and Malayalam actress Pragya Nagra.
