People in UP queuing for hair-loss 'medicine'
A major concern that almost every man fears is hair loss. Statistics from a UK-based research firm state that about 85% of all men suffer from some degree of hair loss by age 35, with pattern baldness being the most common. While hair loss treatments are plenty and available, they are quite expensive and not always effective. Amid this, two men from Uttar Pradesh claim to reverse hair loss at a nominal fee of just Rs 20.
A viral video circulating on social media captured moments that showed a huge crowd gathered in Meerut's Lisari Gate as people lined up for a Rs 20-rupee hair growth medicine.

The event was reportedly organised by two men, named Salman and Anees from Bijnor, who claimed their medicine could regrow hair.
Soon after word spread, chaos erupted on the streets, as several people queued up to obtain the treatment while onlookers stood by to catch a glimpse of what exactly was happening.
The news spread with such intensity and the crowd grew so large that people had to be managed with tokens. Reportedly, the organisers had no official permission and had simply set up camp on the roadside.
Regardless, people gathered in huge numbers as Rs 20 was just a nominal amount compared to the potential reversing of hair loss. Despite there being no confirmation of the medicine’s effectiveness, people took a chance.
Ironically, the two men, Salman and Anees, applying the medicine were reportedly bald too.
The clip soon caught the attention of netizens who commented in disbelief. Many asked those who shared the clips to inform them if the medicine worked.
“Let me know the results and I will join too,” said one user. Meanwhile, others laughed off the incident with “next degree of scamming” and “this is business”.
