Pay fine or manage traffic for 4 hours! Traffic rule violators have two choices here

Despite awareness and stringent rules, a complete check on traffic violations has not been possible so far in different parts of India. However, a video has now gone viral on social media regarding an initiative of Dehradun Police.

The video has been shared by one X (formerly Twitter) user @JasmeenIndian. In the post, the user has sought views from people regarding the initiative in which traffic violators have two options- either pay fine or manage traffic for four hours.

In the viral video, a man can be seen wearing a special traffic police uniform and managing the traffic on a busy street. Another person recording it, interacted with the man who was heard saying, “An official gave me two options, either pay a fine of Rs 2500 or manage traffic for four hours.”

In the video, the man doing the traffic duty can also been heard saying that earlier another person was managing the traffic before he was caught for traffic violation.

“The first traffic violator was released after I was caught for violating traffic. I was handed over the traffic uniform. But the senior official is not present at the spot after assigning me the task,” the man added.
