Lion vs Tiger: Majestic big cats of different species engage in a fierce battle! Watch rare video

Lions and tigers belong to the same family but are of different species. These big cats are distinguished from other species of their family by their size, power, agility and hunting skills. It is quite easy to differentiate lions and tigers by their appearances. Though lions are commonly referred to as the 'King of the Jungle', tigers are larger in size and stronger. Both lions and tigers are fierce apex predators and remain on the top of the food chain. In general, these big cats don't confront other species of the same family.

However, have you ever wondered what would be the result if the majestic big cats engaged in a fierce battle? 

Well, recently a video surfaced on the internet that shows a huge male lion and a tiger engaged in a fierce battle. 

As seen in the video, the male lion picks up a fierce fight with the huge male tiger. The big cats attack each other fiercely. At first, the lion seems to be taking down the tiger. However, suddenly the tables turn and the tiger overpowers the lion making it fall to the ground. Meanwhile, two lionesses enter the arena to save their partner. The tiger steps back after a bite. But, the lion again attacks it while the lionesses remain still in their positions. 

Well, the lion and tiger continue their fierce battle. However, the conclusion of the fierce battle is not available in the video.
