Ingenious Indian ‘Jugaad’: DIY Tap with toothpaste leaves internet amazed

Recently, a video emerged on the internet that left Desis feeling proud of the remarkable jugaad skills displayed by some resourceful individuals.

Harsh Goenka, the Chairperson of the RPG Group, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video that quickly became a sensation. The video featured a clever DIY tap solution. 

In this viral clip, locals demonstrated their innovative approach to address the challenge of a limited number of taps in their houses. Their solution? Simply cut up a small tube of toothpaste, open the rear end, and attach it to the water outlet.

Accompanying the video, Goenka humorously captioned it, "Taps in India like….#jugaad."

Posted just a day ago, the video has already garnered over 53,000 views and nearly 700 likes. It also sparked lively discussions in the comments section where people shared their thoughts and appreciated the Indian jugaad spirit.
