Studying in foreign countries, especially in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, is perceived as a major pathway to success for Indian students. Apart from offering chances to explore new places, studying abroad is one of the best and most followed ways to settle in a foreign country.
After completing their studies, students apply for Green Card or seek job opportunities thereby settling down in a foreign country. Subsequently, it is believed that this helps them earn in dollar and euro, which is way higher than they could have earned in India.
Now, a video from Hyderabad Airport is going viral where hundreds of students can be seen thronging the airport to fly out from India to get admission in foreign universities for Fall 2023.
The viral video has started a chatter online over the reasons students choose foreign universities for higher studies, rather than continuing their studies in India.
“USA is to Telugites what Dubai Is to Mallus and what Canda is to Punjabis,” commented a user. Another user wrote, “Such a pathetic situation, India is losing all these talented engineers to other countries 😠😠😠”
“Indians fascination with white skin and western culture… Everyone wants to forget about core root culture and ready to accept their culture… no doubt Britishers ruled over us for long time,” commented a third user.
A fourth user commented, “This is not just to study only but also to find a US citizen to marry and settle in the US.”
