Gentle giant! Elephant 'alerts' man standing in its way instead of attacking, watch

Elephants are revered for their incredible strength and intelligence. Rarely, does any animal in the wild dare to battle with these giants. However, despite being the strongest and largest animal on the land, these majestic creatures have a gentle nature. Of course, animal behaviour is unpredictable and they can turn aggressive and launch a sudden attack when they feel threatened. However, recently, a video of a gentle giant surfaced on the internet that is winning the hearts of netizens.

In the video, a man is seen standing on the road. Meanwhile, the jumbo approaches from behind. As it seems, the man was unaware of the incoming threat from his behind. The elephant slowly approaches the man. But, when the man didn't move from his way, it immediately behaved differently. Using its feet, the jumbo blew dust. When the man turned behind, to his shock he found the giant jumbo standing behind him.

He immediately runs to the roadside to a safe place. The man certainly was terrified to see the jumbo so close to him. But, the elephant didn't attack him. Rather, it waited with patience for the man to clear his way. The gentle giant continued to walk on its path casually as if nothing had happened.

The man seems to be well aware of the wildlife and unpredictable threats from wild animals as after moving away from the elephant's way, he stands normally. From the incident, it seems, the elephant alerted the man to move away from its path in a gentle way, instead of attacking.

While the source of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nature is Amazing. The caption for the clip reads, "Elephant gently reminding the human that he is in the way." (sic)
