Employees often remain hopeful for bonuses apart from their salary as it is an additional income and somehow bridges the gap between salary and the rising cost of living. Meanwhile, companies also distribute bonuses to their employees as it motivates and encourages them to work harder and help their employer to achieve goals. Mostly, companies give bonus to their employees on performance basis, formula-based or discretionary-based. However, a unique and surprising method adopted by a company for distributing bonus to its employees has left everyone shocked.
The China-based company reportedly spread $11.8 million (Rs 70 crore approx) cash on a 70-metre table and invited its employees to take all they could count. However, the company laid a condition. The employees were given only 15 minutes to collect as much cash as they could.
As per reports, China-based crane manufacturing company Henan Mining Crane Co. LTD, during its annual party directed its employees to gather around a 70 m long table. The table was loaded with stacks of cash. Employees were asked to count as much money as they can within 15 minutes.

According to 8 Days, one employee managed to count 100,000 yuan ($18,700 or Rs 11.5 lakh) in just 15 minutes. Others were seen stacking and counting their money as fast as possible to increase the amount of bonus.
