Nature is beautiful and amazing. Exploring nature will boost knowledge and one can learn several unknown or lesser-known things about nature. A few days earlier, the internet was stunned after a video of a deer eating a snake surfaced on social media. And now, a video of a giraffe munching bones has once again stunned netizens.
Just like deer, giraffes are herbivores. Being the world’s tallest land mammal, these are mostly found in southern Africa. They get easily distinguished from other animals for their long neck, sloping backs, and short horns. Giraffes live in grasslands and open woodlands. They feed on leaves, seeds, fruits, buds, and branches. And their long neck helps them to fetch their food from tall trees.

However, a recent video on social media shows a giraffe chewing a bone piece.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Susanta Nanda captioned the post: Giraffes are herbivores & use their long necks to reach the leaves & buds in the tree top. They have evolved that way. But sometimes chew & eat bones to get phosphorus. Nature is amazing.
Meanwhile, the video has gone viral on social media with netizens expressing their surprise and thanking the IFS official for sharing such informative videos.
