2015 UPSC topper Tina Dabi often hits the headline for her personal life. Everything she does is scrutinized by the media. When Tina announced her engagement to fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande after her divorce from Athar Aamir Khan, the news garnered a lot of attention and media coverage.
However, Tina Dabi is not the only IAS officer who had a second marriage. 2014 UPSC 2nd Topper Renu Raj has also got married for the second time. She married for the second time to fellow IAS officer Dr. Sriram Venkitaraman.
Renu and Sriram got married at a function hall in Chottanikkara in presence of family members. Their wedding was a low-key affair and was only attended by close friends and family.
Notably, the couple took to WhatsApp to share the news about their nuptials with their colleagues. Both Renu and Sriram have many similarities between them. Both the IAS officers are medicine graduates and they served as sub-collector in the Devikulam area of Kerala.
While this is the second marriage of IAS topper Renu Raj, it is the first marriage of IAS Sriram Venkataraman.
Notably, Raj topped the UPSC exam on her first attempt, securing the second rank while Venkitraman was the second rank holder in the UPSC exams for the year 2012.
