Headmaster takes Class 10 toppers on their first flight journey for securing good marks
“We are from families below the poverty line, and had never ever dreamt of ever sitting on a plane,” said an emotional girl who experienced her first flight journey, thanks to her school headmaster.
In a heartwarming gesture, a government school headmaster, fulfilled his promise to reward academic excellence by sponsoring an air trip for two SSC exam toppers.
The students, who scored well in Class 10, were treated to their first-ever flight experience from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam as a reward for their academic excellence.

First Flight Experience
This initiative, costing above Rs 50,000, was entirely funded by the headmaster himself. He had pledged in January to reward top performers from his government school with a flight journey. Upon the announcement of the exam results, he honoured his commitment, arranging the flight.
The experience was transformative for the students, who expressed immense gratitude and a renewed determination to excel in their studies. This noble act by the headmaster has garnered widespread acclaim online, highlighting the profound impact educators can have in motivating and uplifting students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Social Media Reaction:
“Good education can change anything, but a good teacher can change everything,” shared an X user.
Likewise, another user shared, “True educators don’t just teach, they inspire. Investing in students' dreams is how we build a better future. Hyderabad sets an example!”
“True dedication! Hats off to the headmaster for valuing education and going the extra mile to reward talent. Inspiring leadership!” shared another user.
