25-yr-old Instagram influencer Simran Singh found hanging in Gurugram, suicide suspected

A 25-year-old Instagram influencer Simran Singh from Jammu and Kashmir was found dead in her Gurugram apartment in Sector 47. The popular freelance radio jockey was discovered hanging in her Sector-47 residence and is suspected to have died by suicide.
 

The matter came to the fore after her friend who had been staying with her alerted the police. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors announced her brought dead. According to reports, police suspect her death to be a case of suicide. Her body has been handed over to her family.

However, police said they did not find any suicide note, and her family has not filed any complaint. As per family sources, Simran had been dealing with difficulties for some time, due to which she may have died by suicide. She did not hold anyone responsible, sources added.

Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, Simran had around 7L followers on Instagram. Fans and followers affectionately called her ‘Jammu Ki Dhadkan’ (hearbeat of Jammu). Her last post on Instagram was on December 13.
