The deceased were identified as Ranjana Achary (14), a class-IX student in Aska, Nandi Barada (18) of Mantapada and Sunita Gouda (21), mother of a ten-month-old baby of Sidhanai village, they said.
While Ranjana and Sunita committed suicide by hanging themselves at their houses, Nandi ended her life by consuming poison yesterday, they said.
While the cause behind the suicides were yet to be ascertained, Sunita's parents held the in-laws of their daughter responsible for the incident.
