The social messaging application WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has recently introduced several new features.
One of these is Chat Lock, Mute notifications from unknown callers. Another new feature is the ability to edit messages within 15 minutes of sending them. There are also other enhancements.
Adding to its list of new features, WhatsApp has now introduced a fresh feature in its latest beta version.
This feature enables groups of up to 32 people to participate in voice chats.
According to a report from WABetaInfo, the beta version numbered 2.23.16.19 is currently being released to Android testers.
People who can use the live version of WhatsApp will see a new wave-like icon in their group chats.
To start a voice chat, just tap this icon, and you will go to a special screen for voice chats.
Once it is on, up to 32 people in the group can join and talk.
The voice chat session will continue for an hour before ending automatically, as mentioned in the report.
It is suggested by WABetaInfo that this feature could soon be available to a wider audience.
WhatsApp has added a cool new voice chat feature. It is like talking on the phone, but better. It helps people connect in a fun way.
