This app has many features, including bill payment, prepaid recharge, booking cylinders, credit card payments, investments, and so on. The Paytm automatic feature allows the user to automatically pay electricity, water, rent, postpaid bills, and other similar bills. It often happens that users forget to disable this feature resulting in unnecessary spending of money from their Paytm Wallet. This is how you can turn off this automatic payment feature.

What happens if the Paytm Wallet has no money?

Whenever you do not have enough money in your wallet, the credit or debit card that you linked will automatically be debited. If you haven't added a card, then your payment will fail. Paytm will notify you about 2 days in advance if this occurs.

How to see Paytm automatic payment history?

To know if this feature is enabled in your Paytm app, Go to my orders in your profile. Here you can check the bill details by going to Paytm Automatic.

How to turn off Paytm automatic payment?

  • Tap on the menu given on the left side of the Paytm app
  • Go to the Paytm Automatic option available in the My Profile option
  • You can disable Paytm automatic from this page
