Installed at C-DAC, Pune, this advanced supercomputer is the largest and fastest AI computing system in India.
AIRAWAT boasts a remarkable speed of 13,170 teraflops (Rpeak) and is considered a powerful force in the field of artificial intelligence.
Overview of AIRAWAT
AIRAWAT, manufactured by Netweb Technologies, runs on the Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS operating system.
It is powered by the high-performance AMD EPYC 7742 64C 2.25GHz processor, which boasts a massive 81,344 cores.
This cutting-edge supercomputer was recently installed, showcasing India's dedication to technological progress.
Alkesh Sharma, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in the digital era.
