WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has been regularly adding new features to enhance user experience.
Starting this year in January, users can now send HD images and videos to their friends and family by simply selecting the HD option in the sending section of WhatsApp.
Recently, another helpful update has been introduced where users can send videos and images in HD quality without needing to select the "HD" option each time.
To do this, users need to update WhatsApp from the Play Store or App Store.
After updating, open WhatsApp and go to the chat section.
Click on the menu option, then select Settings > Storage and data > Media upload quality.
Here, choose the "HD quality" option and click save to apply the setting.
It is important to note that while this option enhances image and video quality, users may also consume up to six times more data, according to WhatsApp reports.
Additionally, users can manage app updates directly through the WhatsApp settings.
