Redmi has recently announced its new note series. The Redmi Note 12 series will be launching in India in the first week of January. The new series will comprise Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus models. The note series is known to be budget friendly and all the smartphones will support 5G.

Beginning with Redmi Note 12, in its Chinese variant, it had a 6.67" 1080x2400 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC at its core, 4/6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a 48 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor with an 8 MP selfie camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. It had the latest version of MIUI. While it remains to be seen what all features stay in the Indian variant, a recent twitter post from Redmi India’s account suggests it will have super-AMOLED display with sleek design.

Likewise, Redmi Note 12 Pro in its Chinese variant had a 6.6” touchscreen display with 60hz refresh rate. It runs on MIUI 13 which is based on android 12. Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 12 Pro include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G and 5G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. We must wait till the launch date to find all the features.

Similarly, the top-end model in this series i.e. Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will reportedly carry most of its features from the Chinese model. Some of them include 6.67” display with 60hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery with fast charging. On the rear it packs a triple camera setup. It has a single front camera setup for selfies. Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ include Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C. The Redmi Note 12 series is set to launch in India on 5th of January, and it is anticipated to raise the excitement level of buyers.
