On Monday, the Chinese smartphone maker Realme unveiled their latest flagship model, Realme GT5.

This new smartphone was launched in China and boasts the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

One of its standout features is the support for incredibly fast 240W charging.

Along with this, the Realme GT5 comes with a range of other impressive features.

Display

The smartphone features a sizable 6.7-inch OLED screen with a high refresh rate of 144Hz.

This screen also supports advanced PWM dimming at 2160Hz and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1400 nits.

Processor

Inside the Realme GT5, you will find the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset, which is paired with up to 24GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance for various tasks.

Additionally, the Realme GT5 has earned Pixelworks’s IRX gaming experience certification, enhancing its gaming capabilities.

Storage

The Realme GT5 comes in three different variants. The first offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, while the second provides 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The highest-end variant offers a remarkable 24GB of RAM and a spacious 1TB of storage.

These models will be available for pre-order in China starting from September 4, 2023.

Camera

For photography enthusiasts, the Realme GT5 is equipped with a triple-camera setup.

This setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

On the front side, there is a 16MP wide camera designed to capture stunning selfies.

Battery

In China, the Realme GT5 comes with a remarkable 240W fast charging capability paired with a 4600mAh battery.

The company claims that this battery can be fully charged in just 9 minutes.

There is also another version available with a 5240mAh battery, supporting 150W fast charging.

Price in India

For the Indian market, the Realme GT5 is priced at approximately Rs 35,000 for the 12GB RAM variant, around Rs 37,000 for the 16GB RAM variant, and about Rs 43,000 for the high-end 24GB RAM variant with 240W charging.
