This week in India, two new mid-range smartphones hit the market: the Realme GT 6T and the Poco F6.

The Realme GT 6T comes with Qualcomm's advanced 4nm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip and a dual rear camera setup.

On the other hand, the Poco F6 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and boasts an OLED display with 1.5K resolution, along with a range of other cool features.

Let's take a closer look at these phones and compare their specifications.

The Poco F6 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, the Realme GT 6T offers a slightly larger 6.78-inch LTPO curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.

Both phones feature a dual-rear camera system. The Poco F6 includes a 50MP Sony main lens and an 8MP Sony ultrawide lens, while the Realme GT 6T also boasts a 50MP Sony main lens and an 8MP Sony sensor.

Both main cameras have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and support 4K videos at 60fps. Realme's camera may produce more saturated colors compared to Poco F6.

In terms of performance, the Poco F6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Realme GT 6T houses a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. Both processors offer robust performance, surpassing the 1800 mark in single-core and the 4,500 mark in multi-core performance.

Both smartphones run on Android 14, with the Poco F6 using HyperOS and the GT 6T featuring Realme UI.

When it comes to battery life, the Realme GT 6T packs a 5,500mAh battery, slightly larger than the Poco F6's 5,000mAh battery. Both smartphones support 120W fast charging.

Price in India

In India, the base variant of the Realme GT 6T with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 30,999.

On the other hand, the Poco F6 5G starts at Rs. 29,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Considering the specifications and pricing, both smartphones offer compelling features.

The Realme GT 6T may appeal to users looking for a slightly larger display and a higher battery capacity, while the Poco F6 stands out with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and lower starting price.

Ultimately, the choice between the two depends on individual preferences and priorities.
