Oppo A78 smartphone launched in India with 50MP camera, 67W fast charging supports and more specs

On Monday, Oppo India made an announcement on its official handle about the upcoming launch of the Oppo A78 smartphone in India. And today, the phone was officially launched in the country. 

The Oppo A78 is part of the A series of Oppo smartphones, which had a global launch earlier in January 2023.

Now, it has been introduced in India with a Full HD+ display and a budget-friendly price range and many more specs.

Display

The Oppo A78 boasts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The display also offers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, providing a better visual experience.

To protect the screen from scratches and damage, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

Processor and Storage

Under the hood, the Oppo A78 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone offers 128GB of internal storage, and users have the option to expand it further using a microSD card.

Camera

The Oppo A78 features a 50MP main camera for capturing high-quality photos and videos.

Additionally, it comes with a 2MP portrait camera to add depth and artistic effects to portraits.

The Oppo A78 is priced at Rs 17,499 in India and is available in two attractive colour options: Aqua Green and Mist Black.
