OnePlus teases name of first folding Smartphone, rumours suggest August launch

Currently, there are many smartphone companies entering the foldable smartphone market.

Samsung recently introduced its latest foldable smartphone called Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Other companies like Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 5G, and Oppo Find N Fold are also part of this foldable market.

Now, OnePlus has also confirmed that they will launch their folding smartphone later this year.

There are speculations that the phone might be named "OnePlus Open." OnePlus tweeted, "We OPEN when others FOLD," hinting at the name.

The expected launch date for the OnePlus foldable smartphone is in the third quarter of 2023.

According to a report from India Today, the launch could happen on August 29, and sales may start in September.

Although the phone has been the subject of several leaks, official details about the OnePlus Open folding phone are still unclear.
