Recently, OnePlus has announced the pricing of its latest tablet, the OnePlus Pad, which boasts a top-of-the-line display and the latest flagship chipset from Dimensity.

As the OnePlus Pad is priced at Rs 37,999, some may consider more affordable options like the Xiaomi Pad 5.

If you are in the market for a new tablet and weighing your options between the OnePlus Pad and Xiaomi Pad 5, here are the comparisons of these two devices.

Display:

Both the Xiaomi Pad 5 and OnePlus Pad have impressive displays, but the OnePlus Pad has an advantage with its new notch.

The Pad 5 features a 10.9-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and favorable bezel sizes, with an 8MP camera in portrait orientation.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Pad comes with a 144Hz display that offers a similar resolution, also supporting Dolby Vision and an 8MP camera, but in landscape orientation.

Ultimately, the choice of which tablet to pick depends on individual preferences regarding display size and orientation.

Performance and Battery:

The OnePlus Pad and Pad 5 are equipped with high-end chipsets, with the OnePlus Pad featuring the Dimensity 9000 SoC, while the Pad 5 carries the Snapdragon 860 SoC.

Although neither tablet supports 5G capabilities, the OnePlus Pad may have an advantage with more RAM configurations, leading to better multi-tasking.

Additionally, both tablets offer up to 256GB of storage.

The OnePlus Pad stands out with its faster 67W charging and a larger 9510mAh battery compared to the Pad 5's 8720mAh battery with 33W charging.

Both tablets promise all-day battery life, with the Pad 5 offering up to 16 hours of movie playback.

Camera:

The OnePlus Pad and Xiaomi Pad 5 are both unique in that they feature an LED flash, a rare feature for tablets.

They both have a 13MP rear camera that supports 4K recording, making them ideal for capturing photos and videos while on the move.

Prices:

The OnePlus Pad is available in two storage variants: Rs 37,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 39,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Similarly, the Pad 5 also has two variants: Rs 26,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 28,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
