If you are searching for a new smartphone with 5G connectivity, it might be worth keeping a tab on Lava, a domestic smartphone brand in India.

As per a mysterious teaser shared by a senior executive, Sunil Raina, Lava is reportedly developing the follow-up to the Lava Agni 5G, which made its debut in 2021.

Specifications and features:

Although Lava is yet to make an official announcement regarding the Lava Agni 2 5G, a few specifications and features of the device have surfaced on the internet, sourced from leaks and rumours.

As per these sources, the Lava Agni 2 5G is speculated to run on an octa-core MediaTek chipset, specifically the Dimensity 1080, recognised for its top-notch performance and efficiency.

The handset could also sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which should provide a smooth and vivid viewing experience.

In terms of battery life, the Lava Agni 2 5G is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery, which should last for a full day of moderate usage.

Also, the handset could feature 128GB of storage, which should be enough to store a decent amount of apps, photos, and videos.

Price and availability:

Based on previous reports, the Lava Agni 2 5G is expected to be a mid-range handset, priced between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000.

This price range should make it affordable for many users who are looking for a 5G smartphone with decent features and specifications.
