The upcoming iPhone 16 series by Apple is set to launch later this year, but there is already a leak circulating on social media about the iPhone 16 proposed lineup.

According to a leaker named Majin Bu, the new iPhone 16 Pro will feature a redesigned camera module.

Majin Bu mentioned on the 'X' platform, "Based on the information I obtained, it seems that the new iPhone 16 Pro will have a redesigned camera module, similar to what Apple is currently testing."

Later in the thread, Majin Bu added, "An anonymous source informed me that the design shown may just be a safe area for producers and might not represent an actual change to the camera module. However, without seeing some schematics, I can't confirm. I'll continue investigating."

Majin Bu also shared images of the rumored iPhone 16 Pro camera design.

An account called Apple Hub on the 'X' platform reported, "Apple is testing this radical new camera design for the iPhone 16 Pro."

While Apple has not officially confirmed whether they will change the camera design, many netizens have expressed disapproval.

Comments on the X platform criticised the new design, with one user calling it "hideous" and another urging Apple to stick to the current design.

Several users compared the design to a "fidget spinner."

Other rumoured features of the iPhone 16 lineup include a larger battery for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, potentially offering the longest battery life ever seen on an iPhone.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is also rumoured to include the Apple A18 bionic chipset and up to 8GB of RAM.
