At the event, Apple is expected to announce many new products, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and speculations suggest there will also be announcements in the AI space.

Let's take a closer look at what's being speculated about the upcoming Apple event, WWDC 2024:

iOS 18

Apple is expected to unveil iOS 18, which is anticipated to be the most significant upgrade in iPhone history, with a focus on artificial intelligence.

The new OS is rumored to include AI-powered photo retouching, voice memo transcriptions, and smart recaps for missed notifications.

The update is expected to enhance the iPad's capabilities as a productivity and creativity tool, with improvements in multitasking, file management, and app organization.

macOS 15

Apple is likely to unveil the next-generation macOS iteration for its MacBook lineup.

macOS 15 is expected to inherit many of the AI features introduced in iOS 18, including AI-assisted writing in Pages, slide deck creation in Keynote, and code writing in Xcode.

watchOS 11

Anticipated to bring several new health and fitness features to the Apple Watch, watchOS 11 could include enhancements in the Fitness app, potentially integrating new AI-driven metrics and personalised workout suggestions, such as sleep tracking and stress management tools.

visionOS 2

Another highlight of WWDC 2024 is expected to be visionOS 2, showcasing Apple's commitment to augmented and virtual reality.

This new version will likely introduce advanced AR capabilities, enhanced user interfaces, and improved performance for the Apple Vision Pro headset.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple does not plan to unveil any new hardware at this year's conference, as the event will focus exclusively on software.
