Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowed out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after facing defeat against Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator on Wednesday. They were pretty ordinary in the batting and fielding departments during the crucial match.

RCB had defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the previous game and their players celebrated for a long time. However, it didn’t go down well with former CSK star Ambati Rayudu. He mocked the Faf du Plessis-led franchise after their elimination from the mega event.

“RCB will have to understand that you can’t win the IPL trophy by aggressive celebrations. You can’t achieve success by beating Chennai Super Kings. You need a proper team and good performance in the playoffs to clinch the trophy,” said Rayudu during a recent interaction.

“RCB will have to trust the Indian players and local coaches. You can’t ignore the Indian talent in the Indian Premier League. CSK, MI and KKR have understood the importance of Indian players and that’s why they are among the top performing units,” the former CSK star added.
