Virat Kohli’s London relocation! Bengaluru techie shares personal experience of leaving India

Amidst reports of Virat Kohli’s relocation to London, many Indians are choosing to settle abroad, driven by the promise of financial stability and better career opportunities. London, USA, Singapore, Dubai are among the most popular destinations among Indians to settle abroad.

Meanwhile, a Bengaluru techie Sayani B, who recently shifted to London, shared his experience of leaving India. Despite London’s high cost of living, Sayani confessed that there was some magic in London.

“It's been couple of months living in London, and I am in general, happier. I can't point at what exactly has been game changer, but it's an overarching feeling 🙂,” Sayani shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). As expected her story went viral with netizens igniting a heated discussion, with many weighing the pros and cons of living in India vs abroad.

“London is by far the most aesthetically pleasing city I have been to. Walkable neighborhoods for us in India is unimaginable in metro cities. Glad you are having a good time,” a user shared.

Likewise, another user shared, “I really miss London; the walkable roads, not having to take inhaler, clear air, parks omg, the diversity- really really wish to go back.”

“Less corruption, polite people, weather, reliable public services , no traffic jams , overall cleanliness , clean air , good looking people, beautiful buildings, lots of parks , silence and absence of photos / mug shots of politicians from every free space,” shared another user.

Meanwhile, Virat’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has revealed that the star Indian batter along with his wife-actress Anushka Sharma is leaving India to settle in London with his children. Even as the reason for their relocation remains unknown, fans are divided over the former captain’s decision to leave the country.
