Karun Nair
Prolific batsman Karun Nair is the most unfortunate batsman to be excluded from the Indian team after scoring a triple century in Test cricket. Subsequently, he went into oblivion.
However, Nair still cherishes the dream to be included in the Indian team. He has reminded the fans and experts about his immense talent with flashes of brilliance in the domestic cricket time and again.
Recently, Nair made history by setting a new world record for the most List A runs without being dismissed. In the process, he led Vidarbha to an eight-wicket victory over Uttar Pradesh in a Group D encounter of the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Vizianagaram.
Nair surpassed the previous record of 527 runs, set by former New Zealand all-rounder James Franklin in 2010. The right-handed batsman was eventually dismissed for 112, finishing with a total of 542 runs, establishing a new benchmark. Other notable names on the list include Joshua van Heerden (512), Fakhar Zaman (455), and Taufeeq Umar (422).
