Odisha's Kashika Pradhan selected for India in the 10m Women's Air Rifle at ISSF World Cup 2025 in China, marking her international debut.

Odisha shooter Kashika Pradhan has been selected to represent India in the 10m Women’s Air Rifle event at the ISSF World Cup 2025 in China.  

The tournament will be held at Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre in Ningbo, China from 7 to 15 September 2025. It is considered as one of the three most prestigious international shooting tournaments across the globe. The ISSF World Cup is a key event for Olympic qualification. More than 1000 elite shooters from around 70 countries are expected to participate in the tournament.

Kashika is a trainee at the Odisha Aditya Birla Gagan Narang Shooting HPC.

"I am excited to make my international debut at the ensuing World Cup," said the 23-year-old shooter.

"I am looking forward to making the best possible preparation for my international debut," she added.

Kashika made a glorious debut at the National Shooting Championship in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh last year, winning the gold medal in women 50m rifle-three position. She followed her golden debut with notable performances in National Selection Trials, which recently concluded in Dehradun.
