Bumrah's Injury
Notably, Bumrah was ruled out of India’s limited-overs series at home against England after suffering from a back swelling injury following his extensive bowling workload in Australia. He also missed the Champions Trophy series in Dubai in February-March in which India emerged champions.
Notably, after the return of Bumrah to the MI, the teams bowling line-up will be bolstered. The speedster is MI’s second highest-wicket taker in IPL history behind Lasith Malinga. Bumrah has so far captured 165 wickets in 133 matches since his debut in 2013.
