Ravindra Jadeja
Team India spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was severely criticised by the Australian media when he found himself in controversy in Melbourne, after he answered questions in Hindi during a media interaction.
As per reports, the Australian reporters were left frustrated as Jadeja only answered the Indian media’s questions in Hindi. Moreover, the veteran all-rounder left without the Aussie reporters getting a chance to ask him a question.
Later, a BCCI official explained to the Australian media that Jadeja had to leave as the team bus was getting late.
In response over the development, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan rushed to Jadeja’s defence. He took to social media account X (earlier known as Twitter) and asked fans if it was ‘wrong’ to ‘give an interview in Hindi?’

“What’s wrong if the player wants to give interview in Hindi?” tweeted Irfan.
Notably, the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and hosts Australia is currently tied. While India won the first Test, formidable Australia bounced back to win the second Test. The third Test was drawn due to rain.
In another media controversy, Virat Kohli was also left infuriated by the Australian reporters in Melbourne airport.
Kohli was allegedly captured by media cameras in the airport. Then according to reported videos, he could be seen asking the media to not film his family without permission as it is his private life.
