IPL 2025: Rising stars who have impressed with their performances

Several promising cricketers have been making  significant impacts for their respective teams in the ongoing IPL 2025.

Among those rising stars, Vighnesh Puthur has impressed with his remarkable debut for Mumbai Indians. He stood out with his spin bowling .

Similarly, Vipraj Nigam's powerful all-round show for Delhi Capitals have caught the attention of fans and experts. Priyansh Arya has also impressed with his aggressive batting at the top of the order for Punjab Kings. 

Apart from these players,  Aniket Varma, Zeeshan Ansari and Ashwani Kumar, have also brought fresh energy and talent to cash-rich league by indicating that they have a bright future ahead.

Vighnesh Puthur

Playing for Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings, 24-year-old spinner from Kerala- Vighnesh Puthur handled pressure situations quiet well and took three wickets for 32 runs. He even impressed MS Dhoni with his brilliant performance.

Vipraj Nigam

The 20-year-old cricketer has already proved himself as a key all-rounder for Delhi Capitals. He scored a crucial 39 off just 15 balls in a tight match against Lucknow Super Giants.

Priyansh Arya

The left-handed Punjab Kings opener scored 47 runs off just 23 balls in his debut match against Gujarat Titans. He has a range of shots and has the reputation of hitting six sixes in a domestic tournament.

Aniket Varma

Aniket Varma's blistering batting for Sunrisers Hyderabad has made him another notable debutant in IPL 2025. His performances, including a stunning 36 runs off just 13 balls against Lucknow Super Giants and a game-defining 74 runs off 41 balls against Delhi Capitals has proved that he is a bright prospect.

Zeeshan Ansari & Ashwani Kumar

Apart from these cricketers, Zeeshan Ansari and Ashwani Kumar have also made significant contributions with the ball for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, respectively. Ansari got a 3-wicket haul for 42 runs against Delhi Capitals on his debut. Similarly,  Kumar's 4 wickets for 24 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders highlighted his precision and utility.
