In a good news to the cricket crazy fans in Odisha, India will lock horns with South Africa in a T20 match at the historical Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9.
The Men in Blue will take on the Proteas at the Barabati Stadium in the first encounter of the five-match T20I series.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the full schedule for Team India's home season in 2025.
India will take on West Indies and South Africa during the home season across all three formats.
As per the fixture announced by BCCI, the home season will begin in October, with the two-match Test series against West Indies. The matches will be held in Ahmedabad and Kolkata, respectively.
India will then lock horns with South Africa across all three formats. The series will begin in New Delhi on November 14. Guwahati will host the second Test on November 22.

Both the teams will then battle it out in a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series in December, with the final to be played in Ahmedabad.
