CAB gets bomb threat amid KKR vs CSK match in Kolkata
Amid the ongoing match between KKR vs CSK at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has received a bomb threat mail.
As per sources, the mail from an unknown ID was detected in the official email of the CAB during the ongoing match.
As per reports, an investigation into the matter is currently underway. Meanwhile, the security at the Eden Gardens has been beefed up.
The match was the first one to be played in the ongoing IPL after Operation Sindhoor, the precision strikes which were launched in response to last month's terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on May 7.

Notably, the CSK and KKR players, along with the BCCI, honoured the Indian armed forces’ for successfully carrying out ‘Operation Sindoor' ahead of the match.
The national anthem was played at the ground ahead of the game as the players lined up near the boundary line ahead of the game.
