Mumbai Indians have a poor start in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Fans are super angry as their favourite team has suffered two defeats in their first two matches so far.

The fans were earlier dissatisfied as the franchise replaced their most successful captain Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya. However, after MI’s initial failures, the fans have now vent their anger on Pandya.

Hardik has been facing a lot of criticism from both fans as well as experts. Even his wife Natasa Stankovic was targeted by trolls on various social media platforms.

The change in the captaincy move has not worked out for the team till now. MI started with a narrow loss against Gujarat Titans (GT) to begin proceedings. Then they suffered a heavy defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) where they conceded 277 runs in 20 overs.

However, after the poor start, Pandya sought to lift his side’s confidence.

“Toughest soldiers will get the toughest test in the tournament,” said Pandya.

“Anyone who could have come close to where we reached as a batting group or just overall are us. Let’s make sure we will help each other; worst or good, we will be together,” he added.
