Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the title clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.
While KKR defeated SRH by eight wickets in Qualifier 1 to make it to the title clash, SRH got the better of Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in Qualifier 2 to enter the summit clash.
Prize money for champions & runners-up
BCCI has allotted a total prize money of INR 46.5 crore for the 17th season of the cash-rich league. The winners will get a prize money of INR 20 crore. Meanwhile, the runners-up will take home INR 13 crore. The teams finishing third and fourth will bag INR 7 crore and INR 6.5 crore respectively.
Prize money for Purple Cap & Orange Cap winners
With a total of 741 runs in 14 matches, RCB batter Virat Kohli is likely to get the Orange Cap. He will get richer by INR 15 lakh. Meanwhile, Harshal Patel of Punjab Kings has taken 24 wickets and he is likely to keep the Purple Cap. Harshal will take home INR 15 lakh.
Prize money for Emerging Player & Most Valuable Player
While the Emerging Player of IPL 2024 will get INR 20 lakh, the Most Valuable Player will take home INR 12 lakh.
