IPL 2023: Ravindra Jadeja hugs wife after guiding CSK to 5th title - watch

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja smacked a six and a four on the last two balls to help Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lift their record-equaling fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title alongside Mumbai Indians (MI). 

MS Dhoni-led yellow brigade got the better of Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) in a last-ball thriller at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday.

As the match was over, Jadeja had some emotional moments. He ran over and hugged Captain Cool MS Dhoni in a heart-warming gesture.  The hero of CSK had also quite an emotional moment with his wife as he ran and hugged Rivada Jadeja in front of the crowd.

Rivada, who is an MLA from Gujarat, was present on the stands to cheer for Jadeja and CSK. She was found extremely happy after Jadeja smacked the winning run. After the game was over, jadeja shared a long and warm hug with her as both of them got emotional.

However, reacting to the video, fans gave mixed comments.

“IPL winning not a matter World Cup jitaka dikhayu,” wrote a fan.

“God Bless Jadeja and family,” tweeted another fan.

In his response to the emotional video, a third user commented, “CSK ko Champion banane Wale sir ravindra Jadeja is also a Champion Husband.”
